On the anniversary of Sidhu Moose Wala’s passing, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan pays tribute to him

During his live qawwali performance, famous master Rahat Fateh Ali Khan paid a moving homage to the late singer on the first anniversary of Sidhu Moose Wala’s passing. Moose Wala, who had amassed a devoted following in Pakistan, Canada, and India, was nothing less than a rap icon.
The mournful event, which took place on May 29, honoured the popular rapper and lawmaker who unfortunately passed away after being shot by a group of gunmen in Mansa district. Khan dedicated his live qawwali performance of Akhian Udeek Diyan to the late rapper in honour of Moose Wala.
The inquiry into the death of Moose Wala has advanced significantly as of January 2023. 27 of the 31 people against whom FIRs were filed were found and placed in custody. The “real killer” hasn’t yet been found and punished, according to Moose Wala’s family, who expressed their worries.
The first anniversary of Moose Wala’s sad death lingers over fans like a gloomy cloud, yet his legacy endures, and his music is still much loved by fans and followers all over the world.
