Deadlock continues: Maulana Fazlur Rehman insists on a rally outside the Supreme Court

A deadlock over the venue remains in place after the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) called for a sit-in outside the Supreme Court and it has not been decided where today’s protest will take place. .

PML-N leadership including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif requested the PDM leader to change the location of the sit-in, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman is adamant that our protest will take place outside the Supreme Court.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally contacted Maulana Fazlur Rehman and requested Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while Rana Sanaullah and Ishaq Dar tried to convince him by meeting again, but Maulana persisted in his position, after which Rana Sanaullah continued to media. A statement said that the location of the protest will be determined in the morning, but we assure you that our protest will be peaceful.

Also, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman rejected the request of Muslim League-N to change the location of the protest rally outside the Supreme Court.

On Sunday, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah met Maulana Fazlur Rehman in which he appealed to the PDM chief that we should not protest outside the Supreme Court.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while talking to Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we want our protest to be recorded in D Chowk because the situation in the country has worsened due to the protest a few days ago.
