Kabul: Afghanistan’s Deputy Defense Minister Maulvi Muhammad Yaqoob Mujahid says that the airspace of Afghanistan is still in the possession of the United States.

In an interview with the Afghan channel, Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid, the deputy minister of defense of the Taliban government and the son of Mullah Omar Mujahid, the founder of the Taliban movement, said that foreign interference in the name of the coalition government cannot be accepted.

On the question of the presence of American planes in the airspace of Afghanistan, the Afghan Deputy Defense Minister said that this is a violation of the airspace. The airspace is still occupied by the US. I have already explained this and now I do not want tension and our relations with other countries to deteriorate.

Maulvi Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid further said that the flights of American planes in the Afghan airspace are a violation of the Doha Agreement. The American authorities were asked to stop these flights.

He said that the international community, including the neighboring countries, wants the Taliban to form a government that represents the people, but the Taliban government has people from every nation. If we are given time and the Taliban government continues, I am sure that there will be diversity in the government and professional people will be appointed in important positions.
